2 IBC-M students from Applied IT and International Sales and Marketing study programme have been accepted to spend next semester at Vilnius College/VIKO in Lithuania under the framework of ERASMUS+ student exchanges.
Preparation sessions organized by IBC-M International Office are tailored to equip outgoing students with essential information, resources and to ensure a smooth and enriching experience while abroad. Students are advised on packing tips, visa, and logistical matters, cultural awareness to immerse themselves in the culture of the host country aiming to adapt seamlessly. Furthermore, selected students are advised on academic preparedness, health and safety measures, as well as networking opportunities and cultural exchange expectations.
Adequate preparations before going abroad will enhance students’ day-to-day interactions and contribute to a more immersive experience. Recommendations shared with mobility participants are also to approach this experience with an open mind and embrace the diversity of thought, culture, and perspectives they will encounter during their studies abroad.
Participating in student exchange programs offers numerous benefits that extend beyond the academic realm and IBC-M is very pleased for such opportunities for its students enabled through international partnership and E+ mobility projects.
