Prof. Mihone Kerolli Mustafa obtained her B.Sc. (Chemistry) and M.A. (Environmental Engineering) from the University of Prishtina and her PhD in Chemical Engineering and Technology at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She has been working in the fields of natural sciences, environment, EU policy, education, business innovation, and knowledge exchange with several institutions in Europe and the US. This has involved work on scientific work and projects, some of which have been funded by the EU and other EU universities. She contributed as an environmental expert in the field of waste management, the cycling economy, and strategy
reforms in Kosovo and Croatia. Prof. Kerolli Mustafa has several years of experience teaching and participating in other academic activities in Kosovo, Croatia, and Europe. She served as a professor and Principal at the Public International Business College Mitrovica, University of Business and Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology and as a PhD mentor at the University of Zagreb Doctoral School. She possesses teaching and research experience in a variety of environmental and business innovation fields in various universities in Europe. Participant in numerous national and international scientific conferences; Chair of the international scientific conference; Registered and presented in numerous international exhibitions of innovations and inventions; Winner of several awards and recognitions; Chief Editor, Editor, and reviewer in
leading international journals; Mentor and member of commissions for application and defense of doctoral dissertations, master in science research, master projects (Croatia, North Macedonia, and Kosovo). With the support of the EU, she founded 6 theory to practice innovation labs in the region, the Coordinator of Jean Monnet Modules, as well as from 2022 she is a Coordinator for ERA/EU Forum for Kosovo. She specialized in environmental management, green transition, and technology implementation processes, as well as the analysis of cost impact on the total life cycle of a product, SEA, and EIA. Currently, prof Kerolli holds the position of Secretary of National Science Kosovo and is a member of the European Associations for International Education (EAIE), the Balkan Environmental Association (B.EN.A.), the Croatian Chemical Society, the Croatian Chemical Engineer and Technology Society, and Kosovo Chemical Society.
Currently prof Kerolli serves as Rector of the Public International Business College Mitrovica.

Prof. Dr. Ekrem Gjokaj

Dr. Ekrem Gjokaj is a distinguished expert specializing in the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and agribusiness. As a full professor at the International Business College Mitrovica, his research focuses on EU agricultural frameworks and their implications for agribusiness development. His work provides comprehensive analyses of agricultural policy reforms and the EU approximation process in the Western Balkans, identifying both structural challenges and strategic opportunities for alignment with EU standards. Dr. Gjokaj has co-authored reports for the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and published extensively on sustainable rural development, agri-SME performance, and agricultural market dynamics. He has held key positions in national and international organizations, contributing to the formulation of policies on sustainable agriculture, agribusiness development, and rural economic growth. With a strong foundation in economic analysis and strategic planning, Dr. Gjokaj has played a pivotal role in shaping evidence-based agricultural policies and supporting rural enterprises. His expertise extends to project management, where he has successfully led and participated in various EU-funded initiatives focused on capacity building, agribusiness innovation, and economic development in transitioning economies.

Prof. Asst. Bujar Gallopeni

Dr. Bujar Gallopeni is a distinguished academic, consultant, and researcher specializing in behavioral sciences, organizational psychology, social protection and education development. With a PhD in Psychology from the University of Sheffield, an MSc in Work and Organizational Psychology from Maastricht University, and extensive training in research and education policy, he has built a diverse career spanning academia, consultancy, and policy development.
Currently serving as Vice-Rector for Academic, Quality, and Student Affairs at the International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), Dr. Gallopeni also lectures on organizational behavior, research methods, and management studies. His teaching approach integrates project-based, problem-based and research-driven learning.
Beyond academia, Dr. Gallopeni has extensive experience as a consultant, contributing to EU-funded, international agencies, and NGO-led projects in Kosovo and the wider region. His consultancy work covers areas such as education reform, labor market analysis, social inclusion, and research capacity building. Notable engagements include projects with ADA, UNDP, UNICEF, OSCE, USAID, Council of Europe, British Council, Caritas Kosova, Save the Children, Terre des Hommes, and Helvetas, where he has led strategic planning, needs assessments, and policy evaluations, research and capacity building projects.
In the field of research, he has authored numerous studies, policy reports, and academic papers on higher education reform, labor markets, and social development. His leadership in Erasmus+ projects, including numerous projects in higher education capacity building, has significantly shaped Kosovo’s higher education and research landscape, strengthening university research culture, development and innovation strategies.
Dr. Gallopeni is also a recognized external expert for accreditation and validation at the National Qualifications Authority of Kosovo, assessing vocational education programs and aligning them with European standards.
Fluent in Albanian and English, he is an active participant in international conferences and research collaborations. His work continues to shape policy, academia, and development programs, making a lasting impact on education and research in Kosovo and beyond.

Prof. Asoc. Jelena Stanojevic

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jelena Stanojevic is a Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance, Infrastructure and Administration, and Dean of the Faculty of International Business Management within the International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM). She has been teaching for more than thirteen years economic- related courses in all IBCM departments, but her teaching experience also spreads to educational institutions in the region. As a guest lecturer, Dr. Stanojevic has participated in lecturing at universities in Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Bulgaria and Lithuania, developing a wide network in many academic and research institutions and exchanging knowledge and experience with colleagues from different European universities. She has extensive research experience by working on several research projects which resulted in more than 60 published scientific articles in the field of macroeconomics, agricultural economics, financial management, etc., and participation in numerous international scientific and business conferences. She has been a member of the organizing committee of several projects and conferences, a member of an editorial and publishing council of the monographs and journals, as well as a reviewer in international journals. Dr. Stanojevic has been engaged in several Erasmus+ projects and she is one of four Jean Monnet professors in the module “Best European Practices in Environment and Agriculture – ENACT”. She has wide experience in coordinating organizational change and developing innovative study programs and curricula.

Flamur Abazajis a lecturer and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Public Administration and Welfare department at the International Business College Mitrovica where he teaches a variety of classes including communications, and public sector and education related classes, and a PhD Candidate at the University of Ljubljana. He has extensive knowledge on the higher education sector in Kosovo, with his engagement in the Quality Assurance and Accreditation field. Throughout his experience he has been involved in a variety of local and international projects and programmes, in several different roles. He holds his Bachelor Degree in Environmental and Agricultural Management from the International Business College Mitrovica, and his Master degree at the Anglia Ruskin University in Education with a focus on Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Educational Attainment. He also has experience from Accreditation and Quality Assurance Systems in several countries.

Prof. Asst. Afete Musliu

Afete Musliu – Born in Mitrovica, Kosovo, where she attended secondary school, as well as bachelor studies in the field of Material sciences and master studies in the field of Environmental protection engineering at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy in Mitrovica.
PhD studies attended from 2011-2015 at Agricultural University of Tirana, in Tirana, Albania, to obtain title of Doctor of Environmental Sciences. Her PhD thesis was focused on environmental impact of Heavy metals in the environment and food products in the industrial zone of Mitrovica, KOSOVO.’
Until present, she has published 36 Scientific publications in different international and national journals, out of which, 20 as a first author and, 16 as a co-author. Since 2015 working as a professor at higher education institution, initially at Higher Education Institution “Globus”, aftermath at HEI UBT in Prishtina, holding academic title of Assistant Professor in 2015 and academic title of Associate Professor in 2021, mentoring dozen of student’s thesis in bachelor as well as master studies, being also participant in many different higher education projects.
Since 2023 onward, joined Public International Business College Mitrovica as a Professor Assistant in the field of environmental and agricultural management programme.

Prof.Asst. Vjosë Latifi is an accomplished academic and professional in the Economic field. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from South East European University, North Macedonia, and completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Management and Informatics at the University of Pristina, Kosovo. Dr. Latifi has a diverse range of professional experiences in academia and industry. She currently holds the position of Vice-Dean of the Faculty of International Business Management at the Public International Business College Mitrovica, where she supports strategic management and academic development. She is also an Assistant Professor at IBCM, teaching courses related with management while engaging in curriculum development and student mentorship. Furthermore, Dr. Latifi is a member of the Academic Council and the Commission for Studies and Quality Assurance at IBCM. In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Latifi has accumulated practical experience in financial management, project assistance, and human resources. Her extensive research involvement has resulted in publications in prestigious international journals, and she has actively participated in numerous global and local conferences. She is committed to the continuous improvement of business education and research, fostering collaboration across academia, industry, and governmental institutions. Damir Gashi is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, specializing in Horizon Scanning and Foresight methodologies. His research primarily focuses on identifying emerging trends and potential threats within agricultural systems and environmental sustainability. He currently coordinates the Qendra për Transferim të Dijes dhe Inovacion (Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Center), an NGO operating under the umbrella of Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) on research and innovation projects, project development and their implementation. His responsibilities include overseeing diverse initiatives that connect academia, businesses, and local communities through the management of local and internationally funded grants.
Damir has successfully developed several educational and entrepreneurial programs aimed at developing strong relationships between students, businesses, and community stakeholders. Among his notable projects is the establishment of a real-time environmental air-quality monitoring system designed to measure particulate matter and gaseous pollutants in Mitrovica. He is also actively involved in research initiatives at QTDI and IBCM focused on sustainable water, soil, and waste resource management.
With extensive experience collaborating with numerous international organizations, Damir possesses in-depth knowledge of European Union–Western Balkans relations, particularly in areas related to environmental policy, environmental management, agricultural innovation and sustainable development.

Hajdin completed part of his education at Hayfield and Rossington High school in the United Kingdom. In 2006 he pursued his university degree in Kuala Lumpur where he graduated in 2010 with an Honours degree. In 2010, he continued his MBA programme which he completed in 2011. From September 2011 to 2012 he pursued his second postgraduate degree at University of Aberdeen in the UK and in 2021 earned his PhD from Marmara University. From 2013 to 2018 he lectured at the University of Staffordshire and until 2022 at RIINVEST College as a full-time staff member. Since September 2024 he has been appointed as Professor assistant at IBCM. He is active in research and development projects and his research interests and expertise include both management and education. Much of his work has been on improving corporate governance and marketing, organizational structures, and corporate strategy.

Prof. Hyrmet Mydyti joined the IBC-Mitrovica College as assistant of professor of the department of applied IT. In addition, she is an independent consultant and chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Enterprise ‘Posta e Kosovës’ and she helps the enterprise along the road of digitalization. She holds a 5-year degree in Telecommunications and Computer Sciences from the Public University of Prishtina and a Master’s degree in Software and Application Development from the South East European University (SEEU). She completed her doctoral studies at SEEU with area of study is Computer Sciences. Moreover, she has teaching experience and as an engineer, manager and director with over 18 years’ experience in process digitization, system modernization and project delivery. She brings to the auditorium of IBC-Mitrovica College experience in corporations such as Sigma Vienna Inter. Ins. Group, USAID, Kosovo Energy Corporation , Ipko Telec., WYG, GelsenWasser.
Furthermore, she is proficient and experienced in software engineering with a wide range of technology skills, database development, research and data analytics to deliver insights and implement solutions to complex business/project problems. Interest in scientific research is mainly concentrated in the areas of digital transformation, data mining, artificial intelligence, etc. Most of the scientific papers have been published in international scientific journals and have been presented and published at scientific conferences in several countries.

Gabrijela Velickovic is an Associate professor in Economics at Public International Business College Mitrovica. She holds a Ph.D. degree from “Tor Vergata” University of Rome and has an extensive teaching experience in regional and international high education institutions in the field of Economics and Finance. Throughout her professional academic engagements, she has been participating in several EU funded projects being related to enhancing the competitiveness of a national economy in the EU integration process, implementation of e-learning concept and strengthening the synergy between the high education and business sector through “theory to practice” research centers. This has involved capacity building, project management, research and financial management activities. She was a member of international conference review committees and has been an author of numerous research papers in the field of Economics and Finance. Gabrijela has been a winner of a number of awards and recognitions for the academic success and dedication to social community development.

Mirsad Suhodolli is a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching English and developing students’ academic and professional communication skills. He has presented in several international scientific conferences, presenting his research on various important English- related topics. Mirsad holds a PhD in English Language and Literature and has been teaching English for 14 years now. He teaches Academic English and Study skills at the Public International Business College in Mitrovica. Using his great teaching skills, he creates engaging and interactive learning environments where students feel motivated and encouraged to express themselves and grow academically. Considering his long teaching experience, he is also known for a friendly, approachable teaching style – often sprinkled with humour- Mirsad emphasizes collaboration and practical skills, helping students build confidence and succeed in their studies and careers.

Dr. Ruzhdi Halili is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration and Law in the Program of Public Administration and
Welfare at the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is also a Steering Committee member at the IBCM.

Work Experience
Mr. Halili has provided consultancy expert services for public administration reforms, strategic planning, public policies, legal drafting, and monitoring and evaluation, among other areas. He has worked with international organizations such as the European Commission, OECD, GIZ, Council of Europe, SDC, DFID, Swedish SIDA, UNDP, ILO, and OSCE, as well as numerous non-governmental organizations, in Kosovo. His international expert’s consultancy services also extend to Albania (OSCE & Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Tirana), North Macedonia (OECD/SIGMA), Palestine Authority (OECD), and the
Philippines (UNDP).
From February 2010 to December 2013, Dr. Halili served as the first Director of the Strategic Planning Office in the Prime Minister’s Office, where he pioneered Kosovo’s strategic planning system.
Between 2004 and 2006, he was among the first staff members of Kosovo’s EU integration structures, serving as Senior European Integration Officer and later as the acting Director of the Agency for European Integration in the Office of the Prime Minister. In these roles, he led the development of the first EU integration management, coordination, monitoring, and implementation structures in Kosovo starting in 2005. Before that, he worked as a Legal Assistant/Advisor for the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), as a Legal Advisor in the Temporary Media Commissioner, contracted by OSCE, and Legal assistant in the Norwegian Refugee Council.

Dr. Shaip Gashi has a solid academic foundation that underpins his expertise in different economic topics related to international business. He earned a PhD in Entrepreneurship and SME Management, with his thesis focusing on Barriers in Development of Small Businesses in Kosovo. His research during his doctoral studies provided in-depth insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by small businesses in a transitioning economy. Dr. Gashi earned a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management. His master’s thesis, titled Managerial Problems of Marketing of SMEs in the Republic of Kosovo, further demonstrates his focus on addressing practical challenges in small business management and marketing strategies. He also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Development, which provided him with a broad understanding of economic principles and their application to development challenges. His large experience different positions mostly field of finance in some reputation international organizations, onthe other side in teaching, can make a valuable contribution in teaching. The comprehensive academic background enables Dr. Gashi to bridge theory and practice effectively, providing valuable insights into economic, finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, and management within the context of international and local business environments.
