SCAP – Porto Accounting and Business School from Portugal was hosting the 16th edition of International Week (IW2023), which took place from the 17th to the 21st of April. ISCAP International Week was a scientific, pedagogical, (inter)cultural, and social event. The IBC-M team of 3 staff members, 2 professors, and 1 administrative staff member, participated in the event which provided great international exposure and a unique experience for all of them.
During ISCAP IW, lectures, workshops, brainstorming sessions, and networking meetings amongst lecturers and staff of the same field of studies and research interests were organized. IBC-M professors delivered lectures for ISCAP students and benefited by sharing their expertise in a fully international environment. As an added value, IBC-M professors participated in workshops and research sessions, while non-teaching staff gained valuable experience in job shadowing and professional sessions in relevant departments.
IBC-M and ISCAP have long-lasting cooperation in the area of student and staff exchanges in both directions while new business ideas were discussed on how the collaboration can be even expanded in the future.
16th ISCAP International Week was a good opportunity for networking, cultural exchange, and personal and academic development of all participants. This event and the city of Porto are well-known because of its fantastic atmosphere as a combination of pleasure, happiness, friendship, parties, social activities, city tours, and strong academic traditions.
