We are delighted to share remarkable news with you all! The Dutch National Erasmus+ Agency (AKHE), in conjunction with the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo and other Erasmus+ Offices in the region, successfully organized an esteemed contact seminar in Tirana from June 21 to 23.
It is our great pleasure to announce that International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M), led by Professor Medina Braha, has been selected as a participant in this distinguished seminar. Out of the 30 higher education institutions that submitted applications from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Montenegro, a select number of institutions were chosen, making this participation even more significant.
During these three transformative days, delegations from Higher Education Institutions from the Netherlands (HEIs) avidly explored new opportunities for forging partnerships with universities, enabling the exchange of students and staff through the Erasmus+ program (KA171 – International Mobility of Loans). The overarching objective of this workshop was to facilitate meaningful networking and foster the exchange of exemplary practices for collaboration between the Netherlands and the Western Balkans.
The seminar entailed a series of enlightening presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, and engaging bilateral meetings. These carefully arranged bilateral meetings, orchestrated by AKHE, were tailored to align with the specific interests expressed by the participating organizations, allowing for productive and targeted interactions.
On June 21, a special reception was hosted at the residence of the Dutch ambassador in Tirana, adding a touch of elegance and warmth to the event.
Professor Braha had the privilege of engaging in fruitful discussions with representatives from various esteemed Dutch universities. These constructive dialogues hold immense promise and are expected to lay the groundwork for consequential future collaborations and agreements.
