My Erasmus semester in Germany showed me that sometimes change can be good. Instead of sticking to the familiar, I was part of diverse cultures and made friends worldwide.

I never thought that learning about wine could be this exciting; I got a taste of the wine industry, discovered the ins and outs of winemaking, and became quite a wine enthusiast now. And those trips? Millions of trains and busses were changed during four months, exploring castles, wineries, and cafes in neighboring countries – let me tell you this, I don’t need Google Maps anymore.

And speaking of chasing, the courses were worth being chased. Engaging in course presentations pushed me beyond my limits, honing my skills and boosting my self-confidence. The experience upgraded my academic prowess and contributed significantly to my personal growth.

So, here’s to change, making global friends, sipping great wine, and finding the courage to step out of your comfort zone! Prost!
