The first staff International Week hosted by Hochschule Geisenheim University (HGU, Germany) was a great opportunity for IBC-M staff to meet with IBC-M student who was completing exchange semester at HGU. IBC-M student, Dea Gaxha from the Environmental and Agricultural Management study program has been selected to participate in student exchange under ERASMUS+. Dea was actively engaged in all presentations, course assignments, study tours abroad, practical lessons, and other activities organized at HGU as an integral part of the exchange semester. During discussion with Dea, IBC-M staff was pleased to hear that mobility was very beneficial while the experience and knowledge gained at HGU can contribute to the region’s sustainable development and environmental well-being.
Together with other ERASMUS+ students, Dea was also invited to present IBC-M and share her learning experience abroad during the joint networking session with 14 partner universities from the Caucasus region and the Western Balkans. In total, HGU staff international week was attended by 31 participants from Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Albania, and Kosovo.
