Under the framework of the ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility Project, the International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M) was honoured to host a delegation from the Polonia University from Czestochowa, Poland. The visit was organized on the 5th March 2021 and the Polish delegation was composed of: Prof. Andrzej Kryński Ph.D. (Rector), Prof. Wojciech Podlecki Ph.D. (Vice Rector) and Mr. Andrzej Galaidin, MA (Head of IRO). The IBC-M management team welcomed our Polish guests and provided a short campus tour. During the meeting, both institutions presented their organisation and further areas of collaboration were discussed, such as: students and staff exchanges in both directions under the umbrella of ERASMUS+; the development of double degree programs; exchange of best international practices through joint project participation with the aim to enhance quality of educational services, research activities and to further build capacities of students and staff at IBC-M and Polonia University.
IBC-M was delighted that this visit was possible during this pandemic time. Concrete steps on collaboration between IBC-M and Polonia University will start during the summer semester of the current Academic Year: IBC-M will send 2 IBC-M students to complete a semester at Polonia University while other mobility spots for IBC-M staff will be also realised during the summer semester.
IBC-M is thankful to its new Polish partner, the Polonia University, for the willingness to continue cooperation in the future aiming to strengthen the international profile of both institutions and enable further internationalization at home in both universities.
