We are delighted to announce that on Friday, 27th July 2018 the International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M) signed a 4-year funding agreement with the European Union in Kosovo, worth 2.4 million euro. The EU will be financially supporting the College’s operations for the next four academic years. European Union is a longtime supporter of IBC-M and has been supporting the college ever since its inception.
The EU support will allow the IBC-M to provide graduate and post graduate studies in North Mitrovica and South Mitrovica to students from various communities. The fields of study will include: marketing and management, public administration, and environmental and agricultural management. This support will also enable IBC-M to launch new educational programmes, Master programmes, and to upscale on variety of training and consultancy services.
This is the result of tremendous and dedicated work of the IBC-M team supported by Spark, the IBC-M’s founding organization from Netherlands, IBC-M’s donors throughout the years, and the enormous support of students and partners especially over the last year. This agreement will allow IBC-M to continue with its mission of providing high quality education to all communities in Kosovo and will pave the way towards achieving long-term sustainability.
This agreement comes following a funding support by the European Union Office in Kosovo for the academic year 2017/18.
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to the European Union in Kosovo, to our previous donors and to all who have stood by IBC-M and continue to believe and support our mission.
