From 25-29 March 2019, IBC-M lecturer of European Studies, Dukagjin Abdyli (Dr. Iur. Candidate) visited the UCL College in Odense/Denmark in the capacity of Visiting Lecturer. The mobility was organized as part of the Erasmus+ exchange mobilities under International Credit Mobility Project, KA1 component.
The visit was organized within the Department of Public Administration and consisted of delivering lectures for the subject: EU Studies and International Organisations. The main themes that were covered during the lecturing period included: The meaning of Association Agreement under EU Law, European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) and EU Enlargement process with a specific focus on the Stabilisation and Association Process (SAP), i.e. fulfilling the conditions to become an EU Member State.
Besides lecturing, Mr. Abdyli had a study visit at the Parliament of Denmark were they were briefed regarding the work of the Parliament in general and the Committee of Finance in particular.
Finally the lecturer was involved on evaluating the written tasks of the students and providing oral feedback in cooperation with the host lecturer.
In a nutshell the visit helped to further strengthen the links between IBC-M and UCL in the respective Public Administration Departments. Future plans towards exchanging the presentations between IBC-M and UCL students of PA Department shall commence from the next academic semester.
