Prof. Asst. Ruzhdi Halili from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) recently participated in a teaching mobility at UCL Denmark from 15 to 20 March 2026.
Delivered within the framework of Erasmus+ and IBCM’s ongoing partnership with UCL Denmark, this mobility further strengthened academic collaboration between Kosovo and the European higher education space.
During his stay, Prof. Halili delivered lectures addressing key topics related to Kosovo’s political and institutional development, with a particular focus on its relationship with the European Union. His lectures provided students with in-depth insights into:
The European Union’s role in state-building in Kosovo
Kosovo’s path toward European integration
A historical overview of Kosovo’s development
The sessions offered students a broader understanding of the European integration process in the Western Balkans, while also highlighting the complexities of governance in post-conflict societies.
The mobility aimed to enrich students’ academic experience by bringing real-world perspectives into the classroom and fostering dialogue on contemporary European challenges. It also reflects IBCM’s continued commitment to internationalisation, knowledge exchange, and strengthening academic partnerships across Europe.
