Academic Council

The Academic Council is the highest academic body of the college, responsible for guiding the strategic direction of research, studies, teaching, and study programs.

Composition:
The Academic Council includes the following voting members:

• Rector
• Vice-rectors
• Deans
• One member chosen from the academic staff of each academic unit (equal to the number of deans)
• College Quality Assurance Coordinator
• President of the Student Representative Council

The General Secretary of the college serves as a permanent member without voting rights.

Responsibilities:
The Academic Council oversees:

• General strategic issues related to research, teaching, and study programs
• Criteria for student admission
• Selection, promotion, and assessment of academic staff
• Policies and procedures for evaluating students and holding exams
• Approval of study programsAcademic standards for program and syllabus development
• Quality assurance and development of teaching, study, and institutional standards
• Procedures for awarding qualifications and honorary academic titles
• Procedures for student expulsion for academic or other reasons
• Development of policies for intellectual property protection and commercial useRegulations for assessment and performance management of academic personnel
