From international study experience to a research career in Germany, Adisa Osmani’s journey reflects how academic dedication and the right opportunities can shape a meaningful professional path.

Adisa completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Agriculture Management at IBCM, followed by a Master’s degree in International Management and Leadership, with a specialization in Environmental Management, graduating last year.

During her Bachelor’s studies, she broadened her academic experience through a semester at Geisenheim University in Germany, gaining international exposure and new perspectives in the field.

As part of her studies at IBCM, Adisa completed a mandatory internship in Kosovo, which later led to employment in the same company. This experience allowed her to apply her academic knowledge in practice and marked an important step in her professional development.

Today, she continues her journey internationally. Adisa is currently a DBU (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt) scholarship holder and works as a Research Fellow at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) in Germany, contributing to research that addresses global environmental challenges.

Reflecting on her time at IBCM, she emphasizes the importance of the supportive learning environment, dedicated professors, and a curriculum that combines theory with practical perspectives.

"My time at IBCM played an important role in shaping both my academic and personal development. It strengthened my passion for sustainability and motivated me to pursue a career where I can contribute to protecting the environment."

Adisa encourages current students to make the most of their time at IBCM by actively engaging in opportunities beyond the classroom.

"Stay curious, work hard, and take advantage of the opportunities IBCM offers. Get involved in research, internships, and collaborations whenever possible, as these experiences help you grow both academically and professionally."

Her journey is a strong example of how education, practical experience, and international exposure can come together to create meaningful career opportunities beyond borders.
