As part of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) already signed between the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) and the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, students from the Environmental and Agricultural Management (EAM) programme engaged in a joint academic activity to mark World Water Day on 22nd March.
A group of students of the 4th semester, accompanied by Prof. Asst. Afete Shala Musliu visited the environmental laboratories of the University “Isa Boletini,” where they participated in practical activities focused on assessing water quality. The session included hands-on work related to the analysis of water discharged into the environment, providing students with direct exposure to environmental monitoring techniques and standards.
World Water Day serves as a global reminder of the importance of sustainable management of freshwater resources. Through this visit, students were able to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application, while strengthening their understanding of environmental protection and responsible resource management.
This activity also highlights the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in enhancing the quality of education, fostering knowledge exchange, and creating opportunities for experiential learning.
IBCM extends its sincere appreciation to Rector Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, Prof. Sabri Hajdini, and Mr. Shpend Doli for their warm hospitality and continued support in facilitating this collaboration.
