The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as a full member of the Danube Rectors’ Conference (DRC) during the DRC 2025 Annual Conference, which is taking place in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representing IBCM at the conference was Prof. Assoc. Jelena Stanojevic, Vice Rector of IBCM.

IBCM’s admission to this prestigious network was made by unanimous vote of the conference members, marking a historic moment for our institution and a testament to our commitment to quality, international cooperation, and the development of higher education in the Danube region and beyond.

The Danube Rectors’ Conference is one of the most important university networks in Europe, uniting over 70 universities and higher education institutions from more than 20 countries in Central and Southeastern Europe, with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation, research exchanges, and developing common educational policies.

IBCM’s participation in this network will open up new opportunities for international partnerships, research projects, as well as increasing academic mobility for our students and staff.
