The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) organized a two-day workshop on 26–27 September 2025 at Peja to develop the institution’s Strategic Plan for 2026–2030.
The workshop gathered members of IBCM’s leadership, academic staff, and representatives of the SHER Programme, who worked together on defining strategic priorities, objectives, and implementation modalities for the next five years.
The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Bedri Peci, Chairperson of the Steering Council of IBCM, Prof. Dr. Mihone Kerolli Mustafa, Rector of IBCM, and Mr. Aqim Emurli, Team Leader of the SHER Programme.
Throughout the sessions, participants discussed the situation analysis, drafted a vision statement, and engaged in group work on development objectives, measures, and indicators. Special focus was given to strengthening IBCM’s role in higher education, functionalizing the Center for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer, and enhancing cooperation with partners.
The workshop concluded with a presentation of proposed actions, resources, and implementation modalities, followed by closing remarks from the Rector and the SHER Programme.
This workshop represents an important step towards shaping IBCM’s future direction, ensuring that the Strategy 2026–2030 reflects the institution’s mission to provide high-quality, internationally recognized education in Kosovo and the region.
This activity was supported by the SHER Program, funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
