
The Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Ms. Arbërie Nagavci, made an official visit to Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), where she was welcomed by Rector Mihone Kerolli Mustafa and the senior management of the institution.
During the visit, Minister Nagavci met with students who are beneficiaries of merit-based, elite, STEAM scholarships, highlighting the importance of supporting academic excellence and equal access to higher education.
In her address, Minister Nagavci emphasized that scholarship schemes represent a key investment in the future of young people and the development of society.
“Scholarships are not only financial support; they are a recognition of students’ dedication, talent, and ambition. Through these programs, we aim to empower young people to continue investing in knowledge, innovation, and professional growth,” said Minister Nagavci.
Rector Mihone Kerolli Mustafa expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI) for its continued cooperation and support for IBCM students.
“We highly value the Ministry’s continuous support for our students. These scholarships motivate excellence and provide equal opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to pursue their academic and professional goals,” stated Rector Kerolli Mustafa.
During the current academic year, through MESTI scholarship schemes, 28 IBCM students are beneficiaries which nine (9) are part of the STEAM Scholarships scheme, and twelve (12) of them are part of the Elite Scholarships scheme.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Sara Këpuzi, a scholarship beneficiary at IBCM, shared her appreciation for the opportunities provided through these programs.
“Receiving a scholarship has been a great motivation for me to work harder and believe in my potential. The support we receive helps us focus on our studies and prepares us to contribute positively to society,” said Sara Këpuzi.
