As part of an international staff mobility programme, an IBCM delegation led by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Gjokaj visited Hochschule Geisenheim University in Germany. The delegation also included Prof. Asst. Aleksandar Djikic, Prof. Asst. Afete Musliu, and Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment Nataša Šulkić Saveljić.

Hochschule Geisenheim University is internationally recognized for its expertise in viticulture, horticulture, environmental sciences, beverage technology, and sustainable agriculture. During the visit, the IBCM delegation had the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the university's integrated approach to education, research, and industry.

The programme included visits to teaching facilities, experimental vineyards and orchards, research plots, plantations, and state-of-the-art laboratories. Participants learned about the entire production process, from vineyard management and modern viticulture to wine production and enology, brewing technology, coffee roasting, fruit juice processing, and beverage innovation.

The delegation also visited departments specializing in landscape planning and nature conservation, soil science, vegetable crops, and wine and beverage business. Meetings with academic staff provided an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, discussing innovative teaching and research practices, and exploring opportunities for future academic collaboration.

This mobility visit further strengthens IBCM's commitment to internationalisation by fostering partnerships with leading European higher education institutions. Through initiatives such as these, IBCM continues to promote knowledge exchange, professional development, and international cooperation that benefit both its academic community and students.
