IBCM Signs MoU and Erasmus+ Agreement with the University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń, Poland

The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement with the University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń (Akademia Kultury Społecznej i Medialnej w Toruniu – AKSiM), Poland, marking an important step in expanding IBCM’s international academic network and strengthening opportunities for students and staff.

The agreements were signed on behalf of IBCM by Prof. Dr. Mihone Kerolli Mustafa, Rector of IBCM, and on behalf of AKSiM by Rev. Prof. Dr. Zdzisław Klafka, Rector of the University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń. The partnership establishes a framework for long-term academic cooperation, research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and international mobility between the two institutions.

Expanding Opportunities for Students and Staff

Through the newly signed Erasmus+ agreement, students from IBCM will gain access to international study opportunities in Poland. At the same time, academic and administrative staff will be able to participate in teaching and training mobilities.  The agreement foresees student mobility opportunities of up to one semester, as well as staff exchanges designed to promote international learning, professional development, and the sharing of academic expertise.

Strengthening International Academic Cooperation

The Memorandum of Understanding provides a broader framework for collaboration between the two institutions, including:

  • Joint scientific research activities
  • Development of collaborative projects
  • Exchange of academic and educational resources
  • Participation in conferences, seminars, and academic meetings
  • Student, academic, and administrative staff mobility
  • Sharing of knowledge and best practices in higher education

The agreement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to fostering innovation, intercultural dialogue, and academic excellence through international cooperation.

The University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń (AKSiM), founded in 2001, is a higher education institution in Poland offering programmes in Information Technology, Journalism and Social Communication, Political Science, Law, Nursing, Medicine, Public Administration, and related fields.
