We’re happy to share that two of our outstanding graduates, Milos Vucinic and Edin Rrahmani, have been awarded the Young Cell Scheme (YCS) — one of the most competitive EU-funded scholarship programmes in Kosovo, with hundreds of applicants each year and only around 40 students selected to pursue Master’s studies at top universities across the EU.
During his studies at IBCM, Milos Vucinic developed a strong interest in European Union affairs and integration processes.
“My BA studies at IBCM inspired me to pursue further education in this field. Encouraged by Professor Abazaj, I applied for the YCS, and with his assistance, I succeeded in being selected. I consider this a great achievement both for myself and for the educational institution that shaped my ambitions,” said Milos. “I hope that once I return, I’ll be able to contribute to Kosovo’s EU integration processes and help develop policies that improve public services.”
Meanwhile, Edin Rrahmani will soon begin his Master’s studies at TU Dublin through the YCS program.
“This incredible opportunity would not have been possible without the invaluable support and guidance of the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM),” said Edin. “I am especially grateful to my mentor, Professor Flamur Abazaj, whose dedication and wisdom were instrumental throughout the entire process. His mentorship has been truly invaluable.”
This is an example of how in IBCM, our commitment to students doesn’t end with graduation; we continue to support and mentor our alumni as they pursue new challenges and reach their goals around the world.
We are incredibly proud of Milos and Edin for representing IBCM on the European stage — proving once again that IBCM students are ready to lead change.
