Assistant Professor Besnik Fetahu, from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), participated in the international scientific conference entitled "Archives of Migration" held on 1-2 December in Prague, Czech Republic, at the campus of Charles University.
During the conference, Prof. Asst Fetahu delivered a scientific paper titled "Kosovo's Journalist in Residence Programme: Empowering Ukrainian Refugee Journalists as Agents of Knowledge Production in a Post-Conflict Society".
The conference was jointly organized by the Leibniz Institute for the History and Culture of Eastern Europe (GWZO) and the University of Innsbruck (Austria). It featured seven scientific panels with 20 presentations from various universities across Europe that addressed various aspects of migration, including challenges faced by civil society, the role of public institutions in supporting migrants, the voices of refugees and the diaspora, and related topics.
Prof.Asst. Fetahu's presentation was met with considerable interest. The conference also provided a valuable opportunity to discuss areas of common interest, including future collaborative projects in which IBCM will participate, as well as the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the participating universities.
