Prof. Asst. Judita Krasniqi and Prof. Asst. Labinot Hajdari of the Faculty of Social Sciences at IBCM recently completed an academic staff mobility at the University of Wrocław in Poland. The visit was organised within the framework of Erasmus+, aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and promoting knowledge exchange between partner institutions.
During their stay, the professors took part in a series of meetings with academic and administrative staff at the host university. These discussions focused on exchanging experiences in teaching and research, exploring opportunities for future collaboration, and strengthening the partnership between the two institutions. Topics such as joint research initiatives, curriculum development, and opportunities for future staff and student exchanges were among the key areas of discussion.
A central component of the mobility was the delivery of guest lectures hosted by the Institute of International and Security Studies, where both professors shared their expertise with students and faculty members.
His presentation explored the role of education as a strategic instrument for fostering dialogue, building mutual understanding, and promoting sustainable peace in post-conflict societies. The lecture also highlighted the important connection between education policy and international relations, emphasizing the role universities play in advancing reconciliation and cooperation.
Her lecture examined the critical role of women in post-conflict recovery and peacebuilding processes, addressing themes such as gender inclusion, political representation, and the influence of female leadership in shaping democratic and peaceful societies.
The lectures sparked engaging discussions with students, who actively shared their perspectives and reflected on similar challenges faced in different regions. This interactive exchange created a dynamic academic environment and encouraged critical thinking on topics such as diplomacy, reconciliation, gender equality, and inclusive political participation.
In addition to teaching activities, the mobility included meetings with faculty members to discuss potential areas of collaboration, including joint research projects and future academic initiatives.
This mobility further strengthened the partnership between IBCM and the University of Wrocław, highlighting the value of international academic exchange. Through lectures, discussions, and meetings with colleagues and students, the visit opened new possibilities for collaboration and future joint initiatives between the two institutions.
