The Public International Business College Mitrovica will co-organise and host the XXII ERDN Conference 2026, which will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 in Kosovo.
This important European conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, academics, and practitioners to explore key challenges and opportunities related to rural development and sustainable food systems.
The XXII ERDN Conference will be held under the theme:
“Resilient rural areas and sustainable food systems: governance, policy frameworks and structural challenges.”
The conference will provide a platform for dialogue on current and future policy directions, with a particular focus on European integration processes, sustainability, and rural transformation.

As co-organiser and host, IBCM will play a central role in facilitating knowledge exchange and fostering collaboration among European and regional stakeholders. The conference further strengthens IBCM’s position as an active contributor to discussions on sustainability, rural development, and European policy frameworks.
By hosting this event in Kosovo, IBCM aims to contribute to the visibility of the region in European academic and policy dialogues, while creating opportunities for local and international cooperation.
