Study visit to The University of Western Macedonia (UOWM) in Kozani (Greece) was organized under the framework of the ROAMING project in May. The IBC-M team, composed of 3 staff members (1 lecturer and 2 administrative staff) took an active part in training and workshops held during this mobility visit.

UOWM presented the office of internationalization, the strategy, and procedures related to the staff and student mobility as an important part of the internationalization of universities. Participants had the opportunity to learn best practices in international relational affairs and familiarize themselves with international relation strategy and procedures applicable at UOWM. Presentations of student clubs and activities also took part during this study visit and a tour of the university campus in Kozani.

ROAMING is an ERASMUS+ CBHE project coordinated by Logos University from Tirana and the project consortium is composed of partners from Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Greece. The main aim of the ROAMING project is to strengthen International Staff and Students Mobility in Western Balkans by using the expertise of international partners engaged in the project.

The IBC-M team is thankful to the UOWM team for being a great host and for organizing a study visit as a high-quality experience for all participants.
