The SMARTEL Erasmus+ project consortium participated in the 8th Project Meeting that was organized from 29th November until 1st December in Ljubljana (Slovenia). The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana (https://www.fe.uni-lj.si/en/ ), as one of the project partners, was hosting this visit. During this study visit, participants had a chance to be welcomed by representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering through the presentation, campus tour, visit of multimedia classrooms, and other multimedia-equipped facilities, that were organized by the host partner. The main focus of this study visit was devoted to workshops and training sessions tailored for IT developers. Topics that were covered during these sessions were as follows: CDiUL, Laboratory of multimedia, online Classrooms and basic infrastructure; IP security (challenges and best practices); Moodle and BBB environment; Lecture capture use case; Administering Moodle platform (MMD); Development of additional tools (MMD); User interface design of Tools and pages (MMD).

This project meeting was also an opportunity to share the latest update on project progress as per working packages. Each partner presented the details related to the most recent project implementation and development in their home institutions. Along with that, the project consortium established a plan for future activities and visits under the framework of the SMARTEL project. Organized city tours and social gatherings also took place during this event.

During this visit, project participants had productive meetings and a valuable experience of sharing the best practices, modern and innovative approaches, and expertise in improving the process of education through the development of e-learning multimedia platforms and smart classrooms with EU partners.
