The University of Prizren hosted a three-day training organized under the QUADIC project from the 29th – 31st March. The QUADIC project aims to improve institutional capacities for international cooperation and project management in HEIs from Kosovo and Albania using the international expertise of the EU consortium members. The training was organized using a hybrid model: partners from Kosovo and Albania attended the training physically while EU partners joined online.
Considering the importance of designing high-quality proposals, the main focus of the training was directed towards writing project proposals and budget design. Ms. Mihone Kerolli Mustafa, IBC-M College Director, delivered the training by sharing her extensive knowledge and experience in this field. The following topics were covered: EU policies, project design, and proposal writing forming a consortium, convincing the main message, activities, expected outputs and their impact, dissemination, and sustainability. The second part of the training was delivered by Mr. Mirko Topalovic, IBC-M Finance Manager, and it was directed at the budget design and setting up proper budget structures. Those sections were enriched by sharing examples and templates of KA2 applications, as well as, by organizing 2 practical workshops. During the 2nd day, online software was presented that will be used for project purposes mainly, for tracking mobilities, partnerships and for centralizing data for international and local projects. The 3rd training day was reserved for the quality board meeting and for the presentation of achievements and outputs emerging from the project.
IBC-M is thankful to the host institution University of Prizren and to the coordinator of QUADIC project University “Kadri Zeka” from Gjilan for the successful training organization.
