On 20/09/2024, IBCM hosted the Second Info Day for students to promote all Erasmus+ CBHE projects, to include as well the “ProBLeMS” project on metacognitive problem-based learning modules. As part of IBCM’s efforts to enhance its academic offerings, invitations for the Info Day were distributed online to potential, current and alumni students interested in the innovative problems-based approach learning modules. Since the academic year at IBCM begins in October, the Info Day was organized to attract potential applicants eager to engage with this interesting project.
Attendees received information from Prof. Aleksandar Djikic, a Problems project Coordinator from IBC-M, who presented the metacognitive problem-based approach and learning (MCPB) modules developed under the ProBLeMS project, along with application forms aligned with IBCM’s admission procedures. The event gave participants an overview of the new blended learning approach, featuring subjects designed to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in education.
In addition, IBC-M academic staff members informed the attendees on opportunities to participate in Erasmus+ and other mobility programs. During the presentation, attendees raised questions regarding the practical application of the new modules and how they might improve their approach to learning and develop their practical skills, along with theory.
