An online workshop on “Workshop on Developing the Framework for the University Research Plans”, took place on 15 and 16 April 2021, as part of the project “Enhancing Research Culture in Higher Education in Kosova (ResearchCult)”, an Erasmus + project financed by European Union and coordinated
by IBC-M.
The two-day online workshop brought together 11 partners of higher education institutions from Kosovo and Europe and more than 45 participants to discuss on the Development of University Research Plans that will be drafted to each local partner universities in Kosovo based on the best practices and experiences of EU partner universities of the ResearchCult project.
The workshop was a unique opportunity to have an insight into the research plans and strategies of European and local partner universities. The good practices and experiences provided by the Sapienza University of Rome, University of Zagreb, University of National and World Economy from Bulgaria and the research plans presented from local universities: University of Prishtina and University of Haxhi Zeka in Peja was essential in guiding the Kosovo HEIs for developing their research plans. Participants agreed on future activities regarding the development of the research plans and establishment and functionalization of Research Offices and for an on ongoing collaboration and exchange of experiences in accomplishing a successful project outcome. Follow up from this work will be organization of eight internal workshops in local university partners in order to finalize the university research plans. The internal workshops will take place during the last week of May and first week of June 2021.
