Mitrovica Environmental Forum and Research Platform is a part of IBC-M’s project implemented in cooperation with UNDP Kosovo, whose goal is to provide accurate and credible information to citizens of Mitrovica and the region on current environmental situation and issues troubling the town, and ways to protect themselves and our environment.
Partial to a modern aesthetic, our full-service informational platform strives to provide valid environmental data and information regarding climate change consequences and how to mitigate those, news on green energy and sustainable solutions etc. We publish real-time data from air sensors, soil and water analysis regular updates, as well as information on electromagnetic radiation. Different blogs related to environmental challenges we face, and those are published on the website and shared through our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Mitrovica Environmental Forum and Research Platform will tell you on daily basis how clean or polluted your outdoor air, soil or water is, along with associated health effects that may be of concern and recommendations on how to avoid these concerns.
We share what people need to know to live their best lives. Additionally, we share the best environmental conservation practices from around the world, and ideas on how to improve the current situation in our city.
Lastly, the platform encourages its visitors to get involved by submitting their ideas or asking environmental questions that affect their daily lives.
