The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) recently participated as a partner institution in the international event “Practitioners’ Days” held in Salzburg, Austria, in the premises of University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, as part of the Erasmus+ funded initiative “WB-Edu4Migration”.
Representing IBCM at this prestigious event was a distinguished delegation, including Vice-Rector Prof. Asst. Bujar Gallopeni, alongside Prof. Asst. Ruzhdi Halili and Prof. Asst. Florim Gallopeni. The IBCM team engaged in meaningful discussions with peers from Kosovo, Albania, and the Salzburg region, contributing to the exchange of experiences and collaboration on migration service practices.
The core aim of the event was to provide a platform for showcasing best practices in migration services while fostering cross-border collaboration. As part of the broader WB-Edu4Migration project, the gathering focused on facilitating the exchange of practical experiences and insights among institutions and organizations in Austria that provide social services for migrants.
The event also saw the active involvement of partner institutions from the Edu4Migration project, AAB College (project coordinator), and project partners: IREDS, University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani”, University of Tirana, LOGOS University College, Barleti University, IRCA, and UCL University College from Denmark, as well as civil society actors in Austria such as Caritas Austria, SOS Balkan Route, Diakonie, Apropos, and ABZ House of Opportunities. These collaborations provided a rich environment for interdisciplinary dialogue, strengthening regional and international networks within the migration sector.
