IBCM College plays an important in the Erasmus+ Capacity Building Project “ProBLeMS,” which focuses on metacognitive problem-based learning modules in medical sciences. Coordinated Led by Professor Aleksandar Djikic, the project brings together various higher education institutions across the Western Balkans, aiming to improve the quality of education through innovative blended learning methods.

Hosted at the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Medicine, the latest ProBLeMS meeting, held from October 1-4, 2024, had knowledge transfer sessions between participating institutions, including IBCM. The sessions emphasized the application of Moodle in medical education, integrating problem-based learning with digital tools. Practical examples demonstrated the use of assignments, quizzes, and reports to enhance student engagement and comprehension. The event also included in-depth workshops on medical statistics, preventive medicine, and clinical areas, ensuring a hands-on approach to implementing the new methodologies.

IBCM’s involvement in the project aligns with its strategic focus on advancing educational quality through collaboration and innovation. By contributing to developing and refining the MCPB modules, IBCM ensures that students in the region gain access to latest educational practices.
