In May 2025, a delegation from the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM)—comprising four academic staff and one administrative staff member—took part in the International Week and Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program hosted by the University of Split in Croatia. This international event brought together 86 participants from 39 countries and 49 higher education institutions, including co-organizers from the University of Cádiz (Spain) and Nord University (Norway).
During the visit, IBCM’s academic staff delivered guest lectures at the University Department of Professional Studies:
- Prof. Assoc. Jelena Stanojevic, Dean of the Faculty of International Business Management
- Prof. Asst. Marko Smilic, Dean of the Faculty of Environment, Technology and IT
- Prof. Asst. Agron Hajdari, Steering Council Member
- Prof. Asst. Hyrmet Mydyti, IT Professor
Each contributed to sessions in their respective fields of economics, management, and information technology.
On the administrative side, Aurora Ademi, Finance Officer at IBCM, participated in specialized workshops as part of the Blended Intensive Program, engaging with professionals from across Europe.
In addition to academic engagements, IBCM representatives enjoyed a variety of social events, explored Split’s rich cultural heritage, and had the chance to meet IBCM students currently studying at the University of Split as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program.
This experience not only reinforced IBCM’s commitment to international cooperation but also provided valuable networking and learning opportunities for all involved.
