In April 2025, a delegation from the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM), comprising three academic staff members and one administrative staff member, conducted an official mobility visit to Vilniaus Kolegija / University of Applied Sciences (VIKO) in Vilnius, Lithuania, within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program.
The visit primarily focused on advancing discussions regarding the establishment of double degree programs between IBCM’s Faculty of International Business Management and VIKO’s Faculty of Business Management. Furthermore, it served as an important platform to explore additional opportunities for academic collaboration, including the development of joint initiatives, staff and student mobility programs, and broader institutional cooperation, all aimed at enhancing international academic excellence.
During the visit, Prof. assoc. Jelena Stanojevic (Dean of the Faculty of International Business Management) and Prof. asst. Vjosë Latifi (Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Business Management) delivered guest lectures in the fields of economics and management at the VIKO Faculty of Business Management. Concurrently, Prof. asst. Marko Smilic (Dean of the Faculty of Environment, Technology, and IT) delivered lectures at the VIKO Faculty of Information Technology.
On the administrative side, Mirjana Krsmanovic, Director of Finance and International Relations Officer at IBCM, engaged in a series of meetings and participated in a job shadowing program at VIKO’s International Office. Through these activities, she gained valuable insights into the operational procedures, partnership management practices, and mobility coordination strategies employed by VIKO.
IBCM extends its sincere appreciation to its Lithuanian partners for their warm hospitality, meaningful engagement, and the strong foundation of cooperation that has been established and strengthened over the years.
