On Friday, April 25, 2025, Rector Mihone Kerolli Mustafa participated in the Conference of Rectors of Public Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, held at the University of Gjilan “Kadri Zeka.”

The Conference brought together the rectors of all public universities in Kosovo to discuss key initiatives for strengthening academic collaboration and setting new standards in the governance of higher education. Among the important outcomes of the meeting was the formal approval of the Conference’s Rules of Procedure, which will guide its future activities and responsibilities.

During the meeting, the rectors, including IBCM’s Rector Mihone Kerolli Mustafa, signed a cooperation agreement among eight public higher education institutions: the University of Prishtina, the University “Ukshin Hoti” of Prizren, the University “Haxhi Zeka” of Peja, the University “Isa Boletini” of Mitrovica, the University “Kadri Zeka” of Gjilan, the University “Fehmi Agani” of Gjakova, the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, and Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM).

The agreement aims to strengthen academic, scientific-research, educational, and cultural cooperation, based on the principles of digitalization. Through this agreement, IBCM reaffirms its dedication to fostering innovative and international academic practices, promoting quality education, and enhancing opportunities for students and staff.

The Conference of Rectors also selected the official logo, emblem, and seal of the Conference.

Rector Mihone Kerolli Mustafa expressed IBCM’s strong commitment to actively contributing to this collective mission of advancing Kosovo’s higher education landscape, emphasizing the importance of partnerships, innovation, and international standards.

This important participation and agreement further position IBCM as a vital player in the ongoing transformation of higher education in Kosovo.
