The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) is glad to announce its partnership in the WB-Edu4Migration project, an initiative funded by the European Commission under the Capacity Building in Higher Education program. This transformative project aims to address the limited competencies of social workers in the Western Balkans, particularly in Kosovo and Albania, and enhance their ability to support migrant populations effectively.
Coordinated by AAB College in Kosovo, the WB-Edu4Migration project brings together leading educational institutions from Kosovo, Albania, Denmark, Austria, and Italy. The primary goal is to improve the professional development of students and social workers in the region through educational reforms, the development of innovative digital micro-credential courses, and continuous capacity-building activities.
IBCM will play a crucial role in implementing this multi-dimensional approach by contributing its expertise in higher education and digital learning. By participating in this initiative, IBCM reaffirms its commitment to fostering educational excellence and empowering future social workers with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the challenges of migration.
