IBCM lecturer, Dukagjin Abdyli, Dr.iur., LLM, served as a guest lecturer at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia (UNISTRAPG), Italy, from 19–23 May 2025.

During this academic exchange, Mr. Abdyli delivered a series of lectures and interactive discussions to PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s students, focusing on the European Union’s integration policies and the complex path of Western Balkan accession. Key topics included:

  • The Stabilisation and Association Process (SAP) and its role in EU enlargement
  • The EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP)
  • The Kosovo–Serbia dialogue and the implications of the Brussels & Ohrid Agreements
  • The rule of law and core EU values, illustrated through case studies from the CJEU and ECHR

In addition to his lectures, Mr. Abdyli led interactive workshops and provided mentorship to students as they developed presentations analyzing the European Commission’s Progress Reports on the Western Balkan Six (WB6).

This academic engagement deepened IBCM’s collaboration with European partner universities, fostering mutual knowledge exchange and advancing policy-oriented education in the fields of rule of law and European integration.
