Braunschweig, Germany – November 6-7, 2024

Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) participated in a study visit to the University of Brandenburg and the Leibniz-Institute for Educational Media | GEI as part of the Erasmus+ project Homo Digitalis. The visit, held in Braunschweig, Germany, brought together educational leaders from Kosovo, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to explore the future of digital education.

Over the course of two days, participants gained practical insights into cutting-edge digital tools and platforms for curriculum delivery, academic documentation, and media education. The program included a guided tour of the Media and Digital Education Institute and the host university’s library, offering a firsthand look at innovative approaches to modernizing higher education.

Representing IBCM, Prof.Dr. Ekrem Gjokaj and Prof. Asst. Bujar Gallopeni held productive discussions with representatives from the host institution. These talks focused on establishing future collaborations, particularly the development of dual Master’s programs in IT. Plans for follow-up meetings were agreed upon to explore this exciting opportunity further.

This visit underscores IBCM’s commitment to leveraging digital innovation and strengthening international partnerships to enhance the quality and relevance of higher education.
