Mitrovica, Bosnia and Herzegovina – August 30, 2024 – The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) proudly announces the participation of its esteemed academic staff, Prof. Assoc. Jelena Stanojevic and Prof. Ass. Marko Smilic, in an intensive training program held at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. The training, conducted from August 28th to 29th, 2024, was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, “Bridging the Digital Humanities and Educational Media Divide in the West Balkans (Homo Digitalis).”

This two-day training was designed to enhance the capabilities of academic staff in digital tools and their application in the humanities and educational media. Participants explored the growing relevance of data visualization in research and the use of advanced tools such as dashboards and PowerBI to streamline and present data effectively. The first day of the training focused on the principles of effective data visualization and its importance in contemporary academic research.

On the second day, the focus shifted to the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research. Participants delved into the process of developing AI-based research concepts, from ideation to securing grant proposals. Throughout the training, attendees engaged with real-world case studies and examples, fostering discussions on the integration of digital technologies in higher education and research environments.
