Ylberina finished her internship in Kurtweiss, New York. Ylberina is now back in Kosovo and she is now looking into her opportunities here.

We contacted Ylberina to tell us more about her exciting experience and interesting story in New York.

1. What were your first impressions of the USA?

Ylberina: The first day for me was different (time, people and the work). I had a lot of emotions and was very happy to be present in a country like America.

2. What has been the most enjoyable aspect of your internship at the USA?

Ylberina: Meeting people from different countries, a lot of funny moments, learning different aspects about work and life, and this internship change my life, my ideas for my future.

3. What is the biggest challenge you have faced and how did you overcome it?

Ylberina: The biggest challenge for me was the day that I started working at Kurt Weiss Greenhouse, because of my new job, new people, new methods, a lot of bosses, but day to day I started to learn, to listen and have patience.

4. How have your studies at IBCM helped you during your internship?

Ylberina: IBCM studies helped me to improve my knowledge, to give new ideas to the company, to work with orders, also I had my group so team-working was always important, I learnt to work as a grower, planting and taking care for flowers.

5. What advice would you give to other students doing internships?

Ylberina: My advice for all students is ”Never give up. Today it can be harder, tomorrow it can be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine’’. And this internship will help everyone to be stronger for their drams.

6. What are your plans after graduating from IBCM?

Ylberina: My life has just began, so my plan after graduating it’s to start Master Studies, to visit new countries and start working.

The IBCM team would like to thank Ylberina for sharing her experience with us and wish her huge success in her future plans!
