Digital Transformation in Higher Education through Homo Digitalis Erasmus + Project

The day opened with a future-facing session on Digital Humanities, Educational Media, and Teaching Practices, hosted under the Homo Digitalis Erasmus+ Project. This session laid the intellectual groundwork for the day, spotlighting how higher education institutions across the region are reimagining curricula and infrastructure to better align with the digital era.
๐น IBCM Rector Mihone Kerolli welcomed participants with opening remarks on the significance of regional collaboration in education.
๐น Polis University shared how digital skills are being embedded into university curricula to prepare students for the modern workforce.
๐น South East European University (SEEU) presented the development of Digital Humanities and Educational Media Labs, emphasizing the role of interactive learning environments.
An open SWOT analysis discussion invited participants to reflect critically on their own strengths and areas for growth in adapting to digital transformation. The session concluded with practical tips on CV and motivation letter writing, seamlessly connecting digital fluency with employability.
From Classroom to Kitchen: Skills in Action at the BBQ MasterChef Challenge

The IBCM MasterChef Competition brought a playful and hands-on twist to Career Day. Four student teams took on the challenge of preparing BBQ-inspired dishes in a live culinary competition, judged on taste, presentation, and teamwork.
While only one team earned the title of IBCM MasterChef 2025, every participant demonstrated essential professional competencies โ time management, collaboration, and adaptability, all under the pressure of a ticking clock and hungry audience.
This session reminded everyone that soft skills are learned as much outside the classroom as within it, and that leadership, creativity, and collaboration come in many flavors.
Motivation Speech and Career Guidance through All4life project

With minds and plates full, the next stop in the dayโs journey brought students face-to-face with the realities of professional life.
Led by Prof. Asst. Agron Hajdari, the Career and Soft Skills Guidance session provided a powerful boost of practical knowledge and motivation. Drawing on the Unlocking Youth Potential Toolkit, the session focused on actionable strategies to help students prepare for employer interactions at the Career Fair โ and beyond.
Participants explored:

The Career Fair transformed the campus into a dynamic networking hub. Students, alumni, and guests engaged directly with companies, organizations, and professionals who showcased their work and discussed real-world business needs.
Throughout the fair, participants:
