Announcement

It is with great sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news, that this weekend our former lecturer, colleague, and above all friend, Faye Mooney was killed in an attack in Kaduna, Nigeria.

During her two years at the IBC-M, Faye was an amazing help to our institution. She taught several courses working with students from a large variety of socio-economic backgrounds, and also provided lots of administrative support to the rest of the staff. She was a great colleague and friend who always wanted to know what she could do to help, and always was looking for ways to make IBC-M a better place for the staff and students.

For her students, she was a role model. She believed that hard work in societal change can catalyze a better future and that was a driving force for her and her work. She was widely adored by her students.

Her cheerful personality is something that will never be forgotten in our hallways. Faye has left an indelible mark on the college and our students, and everyone at IBC-M offers their condolences to her family at this difficult time.
