This announcement outlines the eligibility criteria and election process.
Overview:
The Student Representative Council (SRC) serves as the voice of students, working alongside faculty and administration to enhance student life, protect rights, and promote opportunities across both campuses. The SRC manages events, fosters student engagement, and acts as a liaison between students and college leadership.
Key Criteria for SRC Candidacy:
- Students must have a minimum GPA of 7.0 (based on the IBCM grading system)
- Those repeating a year or holding leadership positions in political parties are ineligible.
- SRC members serve a two-year term with no re-election.
Election Timeline:
- October 7 – 11: Application submission
- October 14: Candidate verification
- October 17 – 23: Election campaign
- October 24: Election Day
- October 25: Preliminary results announcement
- October 28: Complaint submission period (9:00 – 16:00)
- October 29: Complaint review and response preparation
- October 30: Final results
- November 6: SRC consolidation
