In accordance with the REGULATIONS FOR STUDENT ELECTIONS, ESTABLISHMENT AND WORK OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL OF THE PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COLLEGE MITROVICA (IBCM) (No. 859/ Dt. 18/09/2024) [link here], applications are now open for the Student Representative Council (SRC). This announcement outlines the eligibility criteria and election process.
Overview:
The Student Representative Council (SRC) serves as the voice of students, working alongside faculty and administration to enhance student life, protect rights, and promote opportunities across both campuses. The SRC manages events, fosters student engagement, and acts as a liaison between students and college leadership.
Key Criteria for SRC Candidacy:
- Students must have a minimum GPA of 7.0 (based on the IBCM grading system)
- Those repeating a year or holding leadership positions in political parties are ineligible.
- SRC members serve a two-year term with no re-election.
Election Timeline:
- 27 February – 7 March 2025: Submission of applications – candidates
- 10 March 2025: Verification of candidates for SRC membership
- 11 March – 17 March 2025: Organization of the election campaign
- 11 March – 16 March 2025: Printing of ballots
- 19 March 2025: Election Day -will take place from 9:00 until 16:00 at Riverside (South) Campus- Meeting Room; 1st floor;
- 20 March 2025: Announcement of the election preliminary results
- 21 March 2025: Acceptance of complaints – 9:00 until 16:00
- 24 March 2025: Check the complaints – and prepare the answer
- 25 March 2025: Final results
- 2 April 2025: Consolidation of SRC
