We were honored to host two professors and twelve students from Westminster University, UK, for a study visit to the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM) from April 14–17. This visit was part of their academic program and was guided by IBCM professors Prof. Asst. Judita Krasniqi and Prof. Asst. Labinot Hajdari.
The delegation was greeted with a warm reception by Prof. Dr. Mihone Kerolli-Mustafa, IBCM’s Rector, and lecturer Flamur Abazaj, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Rector Kerolli expressed her deep appreciation for the visit, highlighting IBCM’s vital role in the region as a model of educational cooperation and international engagement.
One of the highlights of the visit was a guest lecture by Dr. Aidan Hehir from Westminster University titled “What is the Future for Kosovo in an Era of Multipolarity?” The session brought together students from both institutions for an insightful discussion on Kosovo’s place in an evolving global context.
The visiting group expressed sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to interact with IBCM students and staff, strengthening academic ties and cultural understanding.
